A Toe In the Water

Hello All -

My name is Darrell and I am starting what I hope will be a continual and growing dialogue on spirituality from a social consciousness perspective. I'll be touching on a range of topics from general world views on spirituality to intimate insights and revelations on our current times and the intuitive awareness taking place by so many these days of a growing temporal shift in consciousness. Things are changing, many are feeling this shift, but don't know why or what it means. We'll be examining the ongoing struggles and challenges facing our world today, and discuss ways to counter-balance the fear and negativity facing so many in these uncertain times. No subjects are off limits, but all subjects will be pursued from a spiritual point of view. In truth, everything is spiritual; there is nothing that is not spiritual, and it is only a matter of viewing all life from this introspective prism that we begin to gain a better understanding of what life is trying to tell us.

I feel it important to mention here that I come at this dialogue having no religious affiliations or pre-judgement of anyone's religious or spiritual beliefs or frames of reference. I sit in judgement of no one and I hope the same courtesy is given to me. My discussions will not be focused on religion or any dogmatic mindset whatsoever. It will, however, be spiritually based. There is a distinct difference between religion and spirituality, and it is from this spiritual mindset that I welcome any and all participants. There's a lot to talk about. I have a lot to share, but I also welcome the opportunity to learn from others as well. This is a toe in the water and an open invitation to begin a dialogue that I hope will help people in need of answers to many nagging questions in their life. Together, as a new spiritual community, we can help one another gain a better understanding of ourselves and our purpose in life. In truth, we are all connected; we are all one. We come from the same spiritual stuff. The problem is, many of us have forgotten this divine place that we've come from. Within the "illusion" of separateness, we have divided ourselves into many factions; many groups; many tribes; all thinking we are different somehow but are in fact the same. Let's make a change. Let's awaken to the oneness that is all of us. I hope you will join me in this dialogue, and I look forward to meeting and getting to know my fellow brothers and sisters on this journey and dialogue of spiritual awareness. I look forward to meeting all of you.
