Don’t Matter If You’re Black or White: A Tribute to Michael

As we celebrate the life of Michael Jackson, my thoughts are concentrated on the many hits that this musical genius had given all of us over the years. Two songs in particular, Man In the Mirror, and Black or White resonate with me more than most because of the important messages contained in them. Man in the Mirror focuses on the importance of growth and personal reflection, and how a shift in your own consciousness can have an important impact on the entire world:

I'm Starting With The Man In The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To ChangeHis Ways
And No Message Could Have Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
Take a Look at Yourself,
and Then Make a Change

The song Black or White is equally poignant to me from the standpoint of love of your fellow man regardless of race or any other illusionary barriers (great video too):

…I Said If You’re Thinkin’ of Being My Brother
It Don’t Matter If You’re Black or White

These are powerful words and reflect the true consciousness of the man who wrote them. They are testaments for what could be and what should be. Now it is up to all of us to take a look at ourselves and make the change necessary to be a better person and live our lives with love for our fellow brothers and sisters; embracing them with open arms regardless of race, creed, color, nationality, sexual preference, belief system, or any of the many illusions that try to show us as separate, when in fact we are all one.

Thank you Michael Jackson for being an example of love. Regardless of any controversy your life may have held, I believe your sincere motivation was that of love and peace. Good journey Michael; be well and enjoy eternity.

Radiating Unconditional Love

This is a discussion about love; love in its purest form, love that seeks nothing in return. I’m talking about unconditional love (e.g. love without condition). There are many forms of love, or at least feelings often misconstrued as love, but are nothing more than marginal subsets of the true divine energy. The love between a man and woman (or variations thereof) can be a deep, abiding and sincere love, but often it becomes tainted with petty conditions that form the determinant for whether or not that love will be given and/or shared in return. This type of love states “I love you if…” or “I’ll love you when…” or even, “I love you because…” It is often the pursuit of love for personal gain, and in many respects the pursuit of power. In relationships, there is an old saying that goes, “…The person with the least emotional investment has the most power.” Far too often this becomes the dynamic for many a relationship, and the outcome more than not traps an individual into a continual cycle of intimate domination. Love becomes a battlefield for many because it is a test of wills that loses sight of the initial reason for finding each other in the first place; to form a personal expression of Divine love (love of God).

Other forms of love such as love between a parent and child often have a much deeper grounding in divine connectedness. How could it not? When a child is born into the world and the parent sees him/her for the first time, the magnitude of this personification of divine love becomes immediately apparent. The bond is quickly formed and the journey begins. But even in these instances, the tests of wills inevitably grow, and the strains of childhood vs. parenthood come to bear. Nonetheless, the love is there, hopefully overriding any dramas, choices and decisions either party may make. In these instances, the foundational feeling is “I love you no matter what.”

I site these examples to illustrate how many of us misunderstand the true nature of unconditional love and how we can unknowingly place serious obstacles in its way. In all cases the key component of unconditional love is love without any expectation of reward. As Soul, a divine spark of God, your very existence is one based on unconditional love. You exist because God simply loves you. Love is a force; love is an energy. Love is the ultimate power. You are love. The sub-atomic makeup of your being is created from Divine love. One might ask, if this is the case, then why do we have so many problems in this world? The reason is simple (and complex); we have forgotten who and what we are and have been conditioned into believing that we are separate from Source (Divine unconditional love) and that there is not enough. Also in some cases is the belief that you are not worthy. This is all an illusion.

I have often found that nature provides the answers to so many of the spiritual conundrums we struggle with, and if we would only take the time to look for and practice the spiritual awareness necessary, we would know that God is with us all the time. One day when I was looking out my kitchen window, I was blessed to witness what I consider to be an incredibly Divine example of unconditional love. In the backyard of our house was a hanging bird feeder left behind by the former homeowners. It looked like a cool thing to have and my wife and I decided to get some birdseed. About a day or so went by after filling it when I noticed a little finch land on the feeder. He looked around for a bit and after seeing that it was safe to indulge, he proceeded to enjoy the birdseed provided to him. After a couple of minutes of personal gluttony, he flew away. Five minutes went by and then I saw two birds land on the feeder. Another couple of minutes went by and then there were 5 birds. Before I knew it there were over 20 or 30 little finches all fluttering about waiting for their turn to feed from the feeder. I thought I was in a scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. I was simply astonished at the spectacle before me, understanding that this amazing moment was started after just one bird told another about the discovered bounty. That bird could have easily kept it to him/herself but immediately shared it with others, resulting in an exponential explosion of birds taking part in this nutritious windfall. What moved me so much about witnessing this was the fact that it was simply the natural order of things. It was God’s Divine plan in the perpetuation of the species to have as a natural inclination to always consider the good of the whole, not just the one. This is God’s plan for all species, including the human species.

I believe in my heart of hearts that it is our base nature to love one another and care for one another without condition, but over time we have been conditioned to think otherwise. Perpetuated by a dog-eat-dog social existence presented as the norm, we have forgotten our true base nature, and have fed into an illusionary fear of limitation; there is not enough and you must fend for yourself. The truth is that there is enough; there is abundance! We have simply been programmed to think otherwise. It is our true nature to express unconditional love. This is a part of our makeup. This is who we are as Soul, because when we are conscious of the fact that we are Soul, we also know that we are ONE. It is time to awaken to the oneness that is all of us, and share the bounty that is available to each and everyone, without fear that things will run out. Understanding who and what we are and realizing the illusion we live in is the first step. After that, it is up to all of us to live our lives creatively within the conscious reality of this new Spiritual paradigm, and outwardly express a conscious awareness of our divine nature and make up. We can do this. I know we can. We only need claim it and bring it into our lives as truth. Your fellow Souls await. Greet them with open arms and unconditional love. It doesn’t cost a thing. What you will gain from it though will be one hundred-fold.

Here and Now

Where are you now? What are you doing? Are you here or are you there? Is it day or night? What do you perceive at this very moment in time? What is time? Are you aware of it now? What did you do an hour ago? Can you bring it back into the now? What would you like to do in the future? Can you see it in your mind’s eye here and now? All of these questions are related to perceptual awareness and have a direct correlation to our sense of infinite awareness and a basic understanding of the illusion that surrounds us. Like in the movie, The Matrix, we are all perceiving a perceptible universe that appears to be real; when in truth we are all caught up in a collective illusion (Do you want the blue pill, or the red pill?)

This illusion is one that we have been programmed into for the purpose of gaining collective experience, but so many of us have gotten so caught up in the slower density of this particular vibrational awareness that we have lost sight of the true reality; that we are all infinite Soul awareness. We are Soul; we inhabit a body in order to work within this lower world density and gain experience. But because so many of us have forgotten who and what we are and have subsequently identified too closely with the shell that we occupy, we do not realize that in fact we are the ghost in the machine. In truth, the body is just a vehicle that we are using to get around in this course, dense reality. We are divine vibration; we are Source energy. We are infinite awareness; we are divine sparks of All That Is.

You’ve heard me speak of this time and time again, but it is necessary to repeat and repeat and repeat these fundamentals over and over again until everyone begins to understand and investigate this reality about themselves. Here and now is the time to awaken to our true identity. Here and now is the time to become a conscious catalyst for enlightened change. We have the means, we have the power; we need only accept this as our true reality and begin, from this day forward to live within it.

There are those, however, who would have us remain asleep in the illusion. There are levels of consciousness that draw upon fear and dense vibrational energy for sustenance and control. I am not dissuaded in acknowledging that negativity/evil does exist and that it is an intimate part of our perceptual experience, but it is only a polarity of energy present within a vast world of duality. Unlike many who write about spirituality and only focus on the positive and safe aspects of this illusion, I feel it important to understand and acknowledge the opposite polarity as well, so as to be able to identify it when necessary and become conscious cause in the balancing of love polarity and divine light over fear polarity and the dense, debilitating influence it can conjure. Yes, evil does exist, but I place no value judgment on it, I merely understand its intent and serve as a spiritual conduit for love.

I live within conscious cause and divine loving energy that is the foundational makeup of my existence. I am love, as are all of you. Some of you understand this; others have not yet awakened to it or feel worthy of it (another illusion). Here and now, right this moment, know that God loves you unconditionally; that means without condition. It places no value judgment on what you have done or who and what you are. You are a member of the chosen people. Why, because you are awakening into the reality that is you. We are all chosen people created by Source, the only difference between us is that some are consciously aware of it and some are still asleep. Here and now, it is time to awaken to your true identity; to your true destiny. You are Soul, a divine spark of God. Live within this reality. Awaken to the potential that is you. You have nothing to learn. You have only to open up to divine energy and remember. God’s infinite love is with you and in all that you do. Awaken to it.

Like Water

Earlier this week, I sent out a Tweet (on Twitter) that stated, “A rigid mind is a self-containing prison. Seek truth in all directions.” I felt compelled to write this because in my daily ritual of capturing the pulse of the world’s consciousness with it’s many levels, I’ve become more and more aware and concerned at the rigidity of fixed belief systems (of all kinds) and their inability to allow the person who identifies with them to open up their heart and mind long enough to even entertain a different opinion or point of view. Sometimes, this point of view may not even be a 180° voice of polar opposition, but simply a varied perspective, or way of looking at the same belief. Nonetheless, the rigid mindset espouses “I’m right and you’re wrong…my way or the highway.” This is not living in an awakened state, not by a long shot.

I began thinking about how so many individuals hold on to their respective belief systems for dear life, thinking that their way is truth; that they are truth seekers when in fact they are actually nothing more than rigid gatekeepers for their respective belief. I started thinking metaphorically about the best description for an awakened state of being. Looking at the FIJI bottle in front of me, I immediately started thinking about water. Water is fluid; it’s adaptable. It’s pliable. Water finds the path of least resistance, always seeking the balanced middle. Like a stream that seeks the river, and the river that seeks the ocean, water cannot be contained. It may be temporarily held back, but its destiny will not be halted forever. Yes, water is the perfect metaphor for a truth seeker because it adapts and adjusts to any condition placed in front of it. Bruce Lee, the late Kung Fu Master and founder of the martial arts style, Jeet Kune Do put it best when he said, “Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.” As it relates to formless form, he again states, “Empty your mind, be formless; shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.”

The rigid mind is a self-containing prison, and belief is its ready warden. The thing is, it doesn’t matter what you believe, if you become rigid to it, you will inevitably be in opposition to those who are in rigid disagreement with it or who have unique or expanded perspectives about it. Within this rigidity of mind and thought, conflict will always prevail. Rigid belief combined with fear makes up the one/two combination for personal self-containment and the stunting of spiritual growth. This is what traps the person in five-sensory reality and does not allow the expansion of universal consciousness to enter a person’s auric field.

Those with STS consciousness who know how this works can use it quite effectively to keep people from gaining the awareness they deserve by pitting one belief against another. It really doesn’t matter what the belief system may be; all that matters is that you hold on to it with fierce devotion and will fight for your belief with anyone who dare oppose you. This may be religious, political, social, national, racial, ethnic, or any other. All of these fierce beliefs hold you back from the big picture; YOU ARE SOUL, a divine spark of God awareness. You are the formless form. Those with open minds and hearts who allow the universal stream of God consciousness to enter into their being, causing them to consciously connect with Infinite awareness is the greatest fear to STS consciousness, because it takes away their control. The awakened person does not allow him/herself to fall into false righteousness through rigid belief.

There is another aspect to water that is even more penetrating and compelling, and it is not metaphorical. I recall an excellent docu-drama a few years ago that I was privileged to see the screening of, What the (Bleep) Do We Know?, starring Marley Matlin. If you have not seen this, I strongly recommend that you do so. In it, there is a scene when Marley’s character was in a subway platform looking at a fascinating exhibition of water crystal photos. These photos were taken by renowned Japanese researcher, Dr. Masaru Emoto, who was able to prove that thoughts and feelings can affect physical reality. Using a very powerful microscope in a cold room along with high-speed photography, Dr. Emoto was able to photograph newly formed crystals of frozen water samples that were subject to focused intentions either through written or spoken words, as well as through music. Dr. Emoto used the same water samples, and after being viewed multiple times during different forms of focused intent, they appeared to change their molecular crystalline composition as a direct result of the focused stimuli. One picture showed a crystalline form after listening to Mozart. Another picture showed a different crystalline form after receiving a blessing of “love and gratitude”. Still more astonishing, the crystalline form completely broke down when exposed to heavy metal music, and later to the words “You make me sick…I will kill you.” These are all waveforms, penetrating and affecting water on a molecular level. This is empirical proof.

Now why is this information and insight so important? Well, consider the fact that you, me, everyone who has a human form is made up of approximately 70% water. If water can change in molecular composition by virtue of what we think and say, imagine how our thoughts and words impact one another and ourselves. It has a direct affect on our health, both physically and mentally, and is a conduit for the receiving of mental, spiritual and psychic energy all around us. We are in fact walking receivers for psychic impulses and information. Don’t believe this is true? Stare at a person on the street who is looking away and see how quickly they turn in your direction. Need more food for thought? Consider the transistor radio. What does it use to receive signals? A crystal. What is water on a molecular level? Crystalline. There is so much more to this, but I will stop here and save it for a rainy day; just let your thoughts, like the water, take you to where it needs to go.

As we move about in this bio-computer we far too often identify as self, it is important to begin to differentiate between what is conscious awareness and what is biological and wave form programming and conditioning due to outward stimuli. The implications are amazing. Just remember, garbage in, garbage out. We must be conscious cause if we are to ensure our own spiritual evolution and become a part of the Infinite awareness that is our birthright as Soul. Good journey; talk to you again soon.

Making Lemonade

It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks; been offline for a bit due to my computer crashing and I ran into some minor health issues, but everything is fine now (at least the health part; computer needs a new motherboard, yikes!). Anyway, it got me to thinking about situations and challenges we all confront at various periods of our lives and how we deal with them respectively. I was reminded of that old saying, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade."

I remember early on in my personal spiritual development working through and accepting a very important principle that I've come to live by, and the challenges we all face when we begin to understand these principles intellectually, but not necessarily in practice. One of these principles states, "It's not the situation that is important, but your reaction to it." Within this nuanced perspective lies the seeds of great wisdom and enlightenment, for in truth we have all been placed here to become masters in our own right; masters of our environment and our personal universe. Consistent with this mastery is a moment-to-moment recognition that we all live in a world of physical illusion and that the circumstances we confront daily are designed to teach us. I have referenced this many times in my early entries such as Everything is Spiritual and the Daily Contemplation to name a few.

This moment-to-moment recognition of the illusion we live in is one of the essential elements of Awakening to the Oneness of God that is you. All too often we forget that this world in many respects is merely a stage play that we are all performing in, and we get so caught up in the minutia of the day that we fail to re-center ourselves into the recognition that we are all Spiritual beings. Those that get it understand the importance of getting back to spiritual center in every situation they are confronted with, and they handle the challenges confronting them with a cool head and steady presence of mind. This is not to say that you won't have an initial knee-jerk reaction from time to time when something happens that is not to your liking, but it does imply that you do not linger in this emotional funk for too long; that you get back to your awakened state.

We need to understand that everything in life (at least in these lower worlds) has a dualistic nature; a yin and yang or negative and positive energy potential. In the journey to understand the spiritual significance of situations and episodes that confront us daily, it is important to consistently ask ourselves two basic questions:

  1. What is the lesson that I'm supposed to learn here?

  2. How can I find a way to make this situation work for me?

To question 1, every situation that we are confronted with is in a real respect designed to teach us something. Often we are confronted with these lessons several times until we figure them out and get them right. Ignorance is no excuse. When you learn the lesson (gain the wisdom), you usually no longer have to go through the experience. But let's make sure we understand what learning the lesson means. It doesn't mean to understand it in your intellectual mind, but to practice it until it becomes a part of you; almost like muscle memory. Every experience brings with it the potential for growth. You just need to have the eyes to see, the courage to ask what the lesson is, and the heart and humility to understand and accept.

To question 2, what is important to again understand here is the dualistic nature of lower world existence and that every situation contains a polar opposite potential. To put it another way, for every positive thing that occurs, there is a potential negative thing that could occur; for every negative thing that occurs, there is a potential positive thing that could occur. The test becomes where do you choose to place your attention. Whatever you choose to place your attention on is where your energy and likelyhood for that thing to manifest will occur.

For those that don't understant their role in the creation of their lives, this can sometimes create a vicious cycle of unfortunate events, because they are on a self-perpetuating negativity loop. But unlike the grooves of an old record, we can change this pattern into something more beneficial and to our liking. We all have this power, many of us have just forgotten. The mentality of victimization is one of the worst illusions you could ever find yourself in; please don't allow this to enter into your psychic space from this moment further; don't accept this ever again. You control your destiny; no one else.

Back to my initial situation, when faced with a crashing computer and minor physical anomally, I had to ask myself those two important questions; what is the lesson and how can I use the situation to benefit me? Well, with the computer down, it provided me with the inspiration to write what you are now reading. I was also able to get started on cleaning up my office; something that I have been putting off for some time. I fortunately had backed up my work a day or two before and had all my data (thank you), and knew that my computer had been acting a bit glitchy for a while now but kept ignoring it. I have now made a personal commitment to address these warning signs much earlier before they get to be big problems; I prefer mole hills, not mountains. As for my health, there were a few things that I had been neglecting that I have now put back into my daily repetoire and am again living a more balanced life. I humbly concede that this was Spirit's way of getting my attention and forcing me to address things that I kind of neglected, even though I knew better. As the old saying goes, "You can pay me now or pay me later." When you get a bunch of lemons, you make lemonade, right? I get that, and have turned these potentially stressful situations into opportunities for living healthier, more vigilant, and becoming ever more spiritually focused in my daily awareness and outlook. The one thing that I do know with absolute certainty is that I exist because God loves me and that It wants me to succeed in everything I do.

Just so we're clear here, God loves you in the same way and with the same great expectations. The question becomes, are you bitching about your lemons or are you making a cool, tangy, refreshing drink?

Does Wisdom Erase Karma?

There is an esoteric school of thought that states that the attainment of wisdom negates the need for karma; an intriguing notion to say the least. But how true is it with respect to the laws of karma and the subtle balance of enlightenment and universal truth? Most people understand karma as the law of cause and effect; what goes around comes around; you must reap what you sow; or for every action there is an opposite but equal reaction. All of these statements are true in their own right. When you dig deeper into the mechanism of karma and how this balancing energy interacts with our lives and choices however, the revelations can be quite intricate and nuanced. There are many schools of thought as to the process that karma uses in determining a person’s destiny or fate based on choices and decisions in one life to the next, and many religions certainly have unique perspectives on just how this works.

There are some spiritual schools of thought that state that there are over 150 different types of karma, all working in concert to determine the course of ones spiritual evolution. But for this discussion, we are only going to focus broadly on four types of karma. In the Hindu (Vedantic) tradition which we will use here, they are identified as:

1. Sanchita Karma – This is considered the sum total of all the accumulated actions that you have created in all of your incarnations. It contains the vast stores of cause and effect choices you have made throughout your conscious existence.

2. Praarabdha Karma – This is considered a subset of Sanchita Karma, but with emphasis on actions that were set in motion in this life and the carry over from the last life. For example, certain conditions you might be dealing with in this life that you might feel is an unfair challenge or burden may in fact be the balancing of actions taken from the last life.

3. Kriyamana Karma – This is considered in the nomenclature to be instant karma. Its immediate cause and effect relationship is helpful in that it allows the conscious observer to connect the dots between choices and outcomes. It is daily karma, and helps one navigate through the waters of enlightenment to determine if he/she is on the right course or not. This is the karma we are most consciously aware of.

4. Aagami Karma – In some respects this is a subset of Kriyamana karma, but with emphasis on the future. It is the direct effect of actions taken now that serve as the determinant for reactions experienced in the future. This is in constant flux by virtue of choices and possibilities. What you do now determines what happens next.

This last one is very interesting because in some respects, it can be considered the karmic off-ramp by which parallel universes of possibilities exist. All of our choices and options create endless possibilities of alternate reality; but this is another topic for another time.

It is important to put things in perspective here by stating that we are the sum total of all of our experiences. Who or what we are now has been determined by the roads we have traveled before and choices that we have made leading up to what we remember of our infinite divine origins, now. All of these types of karma serve to monitor, assess and quantify our existence and growth. It is the karmic record keeper of our existence in the inner and outer worlds.

This brings us back to our original question; can wisdom erase karma? The truth is that karma to a great extent can be corrected. Expansion of awareness provides an option as to whether or not one has to go through (or continue to go through) an experience or not. Having said this, it is also important to realize that actions set in motion must inevitably run their course, like the waters of a river must inevitably flow to the sea. But our thoughts and actions now, along with the wisdom gained from our experience paves the way for what will occur in our future. So in truth, wisdom and karma are necessary pieces of the same intricately complex puzzle.

So as we come to understand in our daily spiritual evolution, nothing is cut and dry. The edges of truth become more rounded and the relativity of existence becomes more apparent. Considering this in combination with an understanding and recognition of reincarnation (please see A to 1 blog, Life, Death and Reincarnation - Feb. 18th, 2009) and the awakening to our true existence becomes one of infinite conscious expansion. It’s all about remembering who and what we are in context to our divine mission and expansion of universal awareness. Our existence is but an intricate droplet of awareness and experience necessary to All That Is in Its desire to gain experiential knowledge and infinite expansion. We are It, It is us, and we are one. Source cannot experience anything outside of itself, for there is nothing outside of it; it is all. Our infinite cycles of life, death, reincarnation, and the karmic underpinnings that make up experiential recognition of omniscience already attained is what we’re here for. Pretty cool gig when you think about it, for we are all part of the whole. No experience necessary, for that’s what the job we’ve been given is all about.

Understanding Belief (Part III)

Belief not only serves as a catalyst for manifestational change, it is the very foundation for ones personal universal structure within an inner and outer spiritual cosmology. Within this cosmology is the structural underpinning of ones life and attitudes towards his/her surroundings, and how life is often perceived within the framework of this belief system. It is the grist for the mill of a person’s expressive awareness and growth, but this belief system, while potentially life long in ones current or past incarnation is not static; it is very dynamic and subject to personal growth in accordance with the acceptance of universal truth.

Belief forms the prism under which we view our reality. But as our awareness expands and our belief realigns, so too does our view of this belief change by virtue of new and growing perspectives. This aspect of belief goes directly into the nuanced constructs of our world’s many religious systems. Through religion, these diverse belief systems form the matrix of one’s experiential relationship with the inner and outer world. Inner visions of Jesus or the Virgin Mary for Christians, Buddha for Buddhists, Mohammed for Islamists, or even personal masters that smaller sects and groups may follow are the forms and expressions that Spirit will use to manifest its divinity. It is often the very thing that validates a person’s belief in a certain religion or spiritual path; they saw this deity in a moment of need or crisis, therefore it exists. It is the true path.

What many fail to realize is that Spirit is not the least bit concerned about form but about substance. It will manifest in your inner and outer awareness in a form that is most conducive and consistent with your current state of consciousness and belief. If you are a staunch believer in a particular religious or spiritual path, then Spirit will manifest itself in that form that you are in alignment with; that you are most comfortable with. The thing to understand here is that it is never about the messenger, but the message.

In our historical expression of a belief in God or a higher power, we have far too often forgotten this most important aspect of spirituality (the message) and have place much more importance and credence on the outer messenger, not realizing that what they were trying to tell us each and every time was that we should only use them as an example as to how to find ones own path to God. It is worth noting here that no Spiritual being that has ever set foot on this earth has done so for the purpose of propagating a religion; not Jesus, not Buddha, not Krishna, not Mohammed, nor any other Spiritual giant. They all came to express the wonderment of God’s love and our connectedness as divine sparks of God awareness, and provided tools consistent with the consciousness of the times to help individuals get ready for the journey to find their own path back home to Source. It was in fact the followers, or disciples, who seemed to miss the boat and placed much too high a value on the messenger, subsequently placing them on a pedestal. In so doing, this immediately deified the messenger and created a subconscious construct that basically stated “I am not worthy and can never be like that.” It is through this process that every religion was eventually formed. Man and woman forgot their own connected divinity and fell into the illusion of separateness from Source. Within this separateness, the belief that one can only find God through an intercessor became accepted. As time moved on, individual interpretations of original spiritual doctrine solidified and formed the dogmatic constructs that we now deal with in all religions today.

I know that what is expressed here is potentially disturbing in its content, and if I have offended anyone please understand this is not my intention. It is my intention, however, to shake people’s comfort zones of understanding, and challenge them to look at things from a different perspective. If I have achieved this then I am content.

As we inevitably begin to grow in our inner and outer spiritual awareness, a wonderful thing begins to happen. Built into our spiritual DNA is a seed desire that we all possess. It is a desire stronger than the salmon’s drive to swim upstream for spawning, or the springtime ritual of the procreation of species. This seed desire is known as divine discontent. As we begin to grow and expand in our awareness, we yearn for something more; something greater than our current belief system is able to provide for us. In the search for spiritual truth we may study and experiment with many different paths, all of which have great value. But during this process, we begin to see and realize that the road starts to narrow. This narrowing road eventually and inevitably leads all Souls yearning for truth into an understanding that now, you are your own path to God. It is the same path that all Spiritual giants had come to in their own unique way. It is the same road that all of you will eventually find yourself traveling as you continue to grow and expand spiritually. We all have this potential; we all have this destiny. You may postpone it by virtue of denial, but you will inevitably find yourself here. When you do, it will be a wondrous revelation for you will realize that you have entered the first step, of the last stage, of your spiritual unfoldment. It may on the surface feel a bit lonely, but the truth is that you are never alone. The truth is that you are a spark of All That Is. Within this level of consciousness we are all one, we are all love. We are able to tap into the universal consciousness that is Source. From this moment forward, we are able to feel how our expansion of awareness helps to expand the universe, for we are one with the Divine. Embrace the journey; become the Source.
